It is ultimately the Members who decide who governs the Institute through the exercise of their voting rights at the Annual General Meeting. Subsequently, the Council elects the members of the Officers Committee on an annual basis.
The team, headed by the CEO, handle the day-to-day operations of the Institute. Groups are set up on the Council’s order to meet up specific objectives.
Council, Officers and Group members are all professional accountants who contribute to the Institute on a voluntary basis. The ultimate goal of all parties involved in the running of the Institute is to serve the needs and interests of its esteemed Members.
