Background Information
Managing people has never been more challenging. Changing workplace expectations,
hybrid working, technological advances, and an increasingly diverse workforce require
managers to develop new approaches to leading, motivating and supporting their teams.
This workshop explores the essential skills needed to manage people effectively in today’s
evolving workplace. Drawing on evidence-based research and practical workplace
examples, participants will examine how to build trust, communicate with impact,
navigate difficult conversations, foster engagement, and develop resilient, high-performing
teams.
Designed for professionals with people management responsibilities, this session
combines practical tools, self-reflection and interactive discussion to strengthen
participants’ confidence and leadership capability, enabling them to respond effectively to
the people challenges facing organisations in a rapidly changing world of work.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Apply practical strategies to lead, motivate and engage people in today’s workplace.
- Develop greater confidence in communicating effectively, providing feedback, and managing challenging conversations.
- Identify approaches to building resilient, collaborative and high-performing teams.
