    The world of work is constantly changing and presenting new challenges. Strong leadership and management capability is key to engage a great team and to drive performance through challenges and change.
    This session equips participants with essential leadership and management skills, exploring the role of the team leader in today’s context. The session will equip participants to build trust and to have the ability to influence others. In a practical manner it will include techniques for managing team performance and developing problem-solving and decision-making abilities. The importance of adaptability, flexibility and the focus on continuous improvement and professional growth will also be addressed.

    • Understand the role of a team leader in fostering trust, collaboration and drive a team’s performance.
    • Become familiar with essential principles and skills required to be an effective team leader.

        Speaker's Profile

        Deborah Giordimaina is a senior health psychologist, gestalt psychotherapist, and registered clinical supervisor with extensive experience in the mental health field. She has worked across various sectors, including psychiatric and community settings, providing therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health difficulties stemming from psychiatric or medical conditions. She has always had a keen interest in working with different population groups and throughout her career she has had the opportunity to work in the areas of child and adolescent mental health, education, and medical health. She offers supervision to professionals working in clinical settings. Beyond her clinical and supervisory roles, Deborah also lectures at various educational institutes, including the University of Malta.
